We like music, dance, art, education. We like community broadcasting, which brings these to you and to us. The last six months disrupted our beloved KDHX-FM. But even as doors slam abruptly in our faces, others open, opportunity to create anew. We created a new nonprofit educational corporation to organize our best efforts. We call it The Gyres Society.
We plan to re-create community broadcasting for St. Louis.
A gyre is a circular motion. It can be a spiral, a vortex, a helix.
Time marches: we dance the circle of life.

We need your help, your gifts. We will unite with loving care, with clarity in word and deed, with joy and laughter. Unity brings strength.
Join us at the S.O.S. music festival on Saturday, October 21, from noon to 9:30 p.m. outside Spine Indie Bookstore in Benton Park, at 1982 Arsenal. It’s free, but we’ll be passing a hat to help musicians and bands. Bring your generosity.
